Haydn PriceFollowing his graduation, Haydn Price developed a farriery business specialising in the shoeing of performance horses. Haydn’s particular interest was in equine locomotion and in 2004 he developed the Equinalysis Gait Analysis system. Co author of Shoeing for Performance, Haydn is also a regular contributor to a number of publications as well as speaking in symposiums in North America, Mexico, Australia and Europe. Haydn is consultant farrier to the BEF and farrier to the British Dressage Team. His interests include owning a 3 day advanced eventer and being major sponsor to his wife and daughter who both compete. This of course leaves little time for the other great love in his life which is flying. Walter MayWalter brings a wealth of business experience to Equinalysis. He has worked for a number of technology based companies including start-ups and high growth businesses. He has held UK, European and Worldwide roles for small, medium and large businesses. His knowledge of Sales and Marketing together with experience in software and services organisations forms a basis of experience to guide Equinalysis as it grows both nationally and into other geographical markets. Walter holds an M.Sc in Engineering from Cranfield University and a MBA from the Open Business School. Professor John E Davies (Chairman)Professor Davies is one of the first appointed Professors of Sports Medicine in the UK. He is also a practicing Rheumatologist and his areas of special interest in clinical research include human musculo-skeletal disorders involving biomechanics. He has also published several epidemiological studies, in particular with relation to injuries in Rugby Football Union, and has been involved at international level with Drug Abuse in sport. John was Hon. Physician to the Welsh Rugby Union 1984-1999 and was also the National Team Doctor as well as representing the WRU on the International Rugby Board (I.R.B). John continues to work clinically, both in his private London Practice, and at Guy’s Hospital, London together with clinical attachments, and Equinalysis responsibilities in Monmouthshire, where he resides. |
