British Olympic Association invites Equinalysis to support Team GB
Equinalysis is pleased to announce its involvement with the British Olympic Association’s Fundraising Appeal, in the run up to the Beijing Olympic Games.

The BOA receives no direct government or lottery funding, and has appealed to leading British business to assist with raising £3million to help Team GB compete in Beijing this year. Monies raised will help towards medical support, air travel, kit, parade wear and accommodation for the team and support staff.

Equinalysis is one of 150 appeal committee members, and the only equestrian company on the committee. Equinalysis’ Chairman, John E Davies, is a consultant Physician in Sports Medicine at London’s Guys Hospital, a leading musculo-skeletal specialist, and co-founder of Equinalysis. He has taken on the role of raising the cash and is delighted to be involved.

“This is a great cause, and Equinalysis is proud to be associated with the Olympic Games,” John says. “This will be the second Games that we have been involved with; in fact, the original Equinalysis software was developed around the time of the 2004 Games, in order to offer the team horses the highest levels of locomotive assessment. This time round, many of the horses heading for Beijing will have had the opportunity to be assessed using Equinalysis technology through the World Class Programme, as will the riders.” Equinalysis will be holding a high profile event this summer to help raise the funds to support Team GB – details to be announced in due course.

Equinalysis is holding a seminar on Thurs 10th April at Kilbees Farm Stud in Windsor, Berks, from 3-7pm, aiming to present the company, its video-based gait analysis system and the role of an Equinalysis Business Partner to individuals.
